Cajun Meatloaf Seasoning

Meatloaf Seasoning was created to blend with tomato sauce and ground beef, turkey, meatloaf mix (beef, veal, and pork), or any ground meat. Use salt-free tomato sauces to lower the sodium content in the finished dish and add sliced rings of green or red bell peppers as a colorful garnish.

Additional DescriptionMore Details

Meatloaf: In a large bowl or pan, mix together 2 pounds of ground beef, Meatloaf Seasoning, 1 cup bread crumbs, 2 beaten eggs, and 12 ounces of tomato sauce; mix ingredients thoroughly. Form into loaf and bake in 350°F oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until desired doneness. Top with tomato sauce or ketchup.

Stuffed Peppers: Cut green bell peppers in half, top to bottom. Clean and seed, then fill cavity with 1/4 to 1/2 cup of meatloaf mixture. Top with 1-1/2 cups tomato sauce and bake in 350°F oven for 45 minutes.

Salisbury Steaks: Combine 1 pound ground beef with 1 pkg. Meatloaf Seasoning and shape into 4 oval shaped patties, 1/2 inch thick. Panfry in 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat until browned then drain, cover with tomato sauce, and simmer 5 to 10 minutes; or broil 3 to 4 inches from the heat for 4 minutes per side then place in skillet with tomato sauce and simmer 5 to 10 minutes.

Meatballs: Combine 1 pound ground beef with 1 pkg. Meatloaf Seasoning and mix thoroughly. Shape into 1-inch meatballs; 1 pound of ground beef makes approximately 18 to 20 meatballs. Panfry the meatballs in 2 tablespoons of oil over medium heat. Cook 10 to 15 minutes. Turn to brown on all sides. Serve with tomato sauce.
